Where do you deliver?

We ship our Cookie Gift Boxes within the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska, excluding Puerto Rico).

2-day ground shipping is available for the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia (partial), Indiana, Illinois (partial), Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan (partial), New Hampshire, Kentucky, Maine, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Vermont, and Virginia.

To ensure your cookies in our gift boxes arrive in the freshest condition, we require that orders shipping beyond the northeastern United States use express shipping (two-day or overnight).

Due to the highly perishable nature of our cookies, at this time we are unfortunately unable to support shipping to international locations or APO/FPO addresses.

How can I get items from the bakery delivered?

We can deliver certain items from our bakery locations to select areas within delivery range via Doordash, Caviar and Uber Eats. Our cookie gift boxes are not available for delivery from our bakery locations. Please visit: for more information and to place and order.

When do you deliver?

We deliver our cookie gift boxes via UPS Tuesdays through Fridays. We can deliver on Saturdays to zip codes within 150 miles of our NYC commissary. Shipping dates and pricing are determined by location and availability.

Please note, we do not generally ship orders if they will be in transit over a weekend. That means that, for some destinations, if you order on Thursday and select ground or two-day shipping, your first available delivery date may be the next week.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

UPS does not deliver to PO boxes, so you’ll need to use the street address of a post office if that’s the only way your recipient can get their mail.

What if the recipient is not available to take the delivery?

Please note that we ship all our orders with a signature required at shipping, so we recommend shipping to an address where someone will be available to sign for the delivery. It is at the sole discretion of UPS whether your package will be left without a signature. If signature is waived, Levain Bakery cannot be held responsible if the package is lost, stolen or damaged.

If UPS cannot deliver on the date selected, they will reattempt the next day available. UPS reattempts unsuccessful Friday deliveries on Monday, but if you're within 150 miles of our New York ovens, UPS will reattempt unsuccessful Friday deliveries on Saturday. Please plan accordingly, our goal is for all cookies to arrive as fresh as possible!

Shipping delays

For freshness, we bake-to-order and try to minimize the time cookies are in transit to 2 days.

We try our best to deliver orders as requested and recommend selecting a date 1-2 days in advance if you'd like delivery by a specific date.

While we do our best to deliver your order on the date you select, UPS may experience unexpected delays. There may be a time in which your Friday delivery gets delayed until Monday, due to UPS weather or operational delays

During national and peak holidays, we encourage customers to select a date 1-2 days before desired delivery to ensure your package will arrive in time for the holiday.

How much will shipping cost?

All shipping options for your delivery address are displayed at checkout, along with exact prices. 1 and 2-day ground shipping cost is $12, 2-day air shipping cost is $20, and overnight air shipping cost is $49. Saturday delivery is available to orders being delivered within 150 miles of our New York ovens or by special arrangement. Typically, the shipping fees for a special arrangement start at $100, depending on the quantity of cookies and delivery address. How can I select a delivery date in a future month?

Unfortunately, we cannot take orders more than 25 days ahead of delivery date.

What’s the best way to ensure my order arrives on a specific date?

At checkout you can select the date by which you would like your cookies to arrive, and we’ll ship them out accordingly to ensure the freshest cookies possible.

While we do our best to deliver your order on the date you select, UPS is currently experiencing nationwide shipping delays. There may be a time in which your Friday delivery gets delayed until Monday, due to UPS weather or operations delays

During peak holidays such as Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, we encourage customers to select a date 1-2 days before desired delivery to ensure your package will arrive in time for the holiday.

How do I place orders shipping to multiple addresses?

At this time, our site is only able to process orders with one shipping address at a time. If you have a big list (10 or more), we’re happy to help streamline the process. Simply email and we will help you place the order.

Where is my order?

You’ll get an email confirmation immediately after you place your order and receive another one the day your order ships. The shipping confirmation email will include the order’s tracking number, which you can click to get updates on transit.  

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder and add to your safe senders list.

Do you accept returns?

Given the perishable nature of our cookies, we aren’t able to accept returns. If you encountered an issue with your order, please email  and let us know what’s going on. We will do our best to make it right.
